Farmers Market Pricing Reports Now Available

From Clemson Agribusiness Associate Kevin Burkett

This summer, farmers markets around South Carolina have had volunteers submitting data on fruit and vegetable prices. None of this data includes personal information from market volunteers or farms themselves. The reports are now available through the Clemson Extension Agribusiness page.

While farmer’s markets are heavily utilized by specialty crop growers, prices can vary across the state.

This data has been compiled and summarized for July and August. Data collection will continue through September 2025 with more reports expected later this year. The project will restart April 2026 – September 2026 when farmers markets open for next season. Report users can provide feedback on the reports here.
