Where is Andy visiting this week?

Andy is visiting Baxley Family Farms in Georgetown, SC. Baxley Family Farms is a multi-generation operation focused on raising cattle, row crops, and local produce with a deep commitment to conservation and responsible land stewardship. Their on-farm market, Black Mingo Produce, offers fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, and dairy as well as seasonal U-pick agritourism experiences.

Baxley Family Farms, as its name suggests, is a true family-run operation. Lloyd and Connie Baxley have been the farm’s owners and operators since its inception, and along with their two sons, Joshua and Jesse, continue to run the family business with passion and dedication. Rooted in family tradition and driven by a pursuit of innovation, Baxley Family Farms serves as both a working agricultural enterprise and a local source of fresh, farm-grown food for the community. Conservation practices and stewardship of natural resources while maintaining integrity, innovation, and a strong connection to the land remain the central focus of their mission.

This month’s spotlight is from Brad Fowler, Pee Dee Fruit and Vegetable Agent.
